Monthly Meetings

Each month the Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association has a general body meeting to keep neighborhood residents informed about Downtown activities. This meeting is also a great time to meet fellow Downtowners, learn about how you can get involved with the neighborhood, and socialize at one of the local establishments. General Body meetings are held at different locations each moth.

Clean up days

Help keep our neighborhood clean! While we believe everyday is a clean up day, ADNA schedules neighborhood-wide events to remove trash, stickers, and other materials from our streets. Keep an eye out for an upcoming clean up day by subscribing to our newsletter.

YoGA in Woodruff Park

Woodruff Park has many events that you can read about on their website, but yoga on Saturday mornings is an ADNA favorite!

Scavenger Hunt

A portion of the proceeds from the ADNA Scavenger Hunt will be donated to The Names Project / AIDS Quilt.

How it Works

Tap into your Urban Explorer! ADNA is pleased to bring back the Downtown Scavenger Hunt! Join us September 28th at Noon for a day of fun, prizes and improving your knowledge of Atlanta. Festivities start at The Names Project / AIDS Quilt at Luckie and Cone streets.

Scavenger Hunt teams are comprised of a maximum of two people. The winner is determined by the number of points eared over the 4-hour period. Points are earned by solving clues that send you to Downtown locations of interest (businesses, landmarks, etc.). Bring a digital camera or camera phone to take pictures to serve as proof that your team has solved the clue.

Scavenger Hunt participants will be provided with a backpack of informative flyers and a Passport — a guide map to help acquire and solve clues. Photographs and stamps earned with the Passport will serve as proof of each team’s accomplishments. During the Hunt, ADNA and the event sponsors may use their Facebook and Twitter for additional hints. Note: Facebook and Twitter access is NOT required to do the Scavenger Hunt, but it does help.

VERY BIKE-FRIENDLY! Alternative transportation is preferred and encouraged, such as by foot, MARTA, bicycles, etc. Use of motor vehicles is not allowed. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to move around town quickly and remember that we are providing you with a backpack.

A bike or taking the MARTA train is your best travel option to get to the event. Convenient MARTA stations to Park Bar are: Five Points, Peachtree Center, Civic Center, and CNN Center. CNN Center is the closest one. PARKING: There is plenty of pay parking (lots, decks, parking meters) throughout the Downtown area, including next to Park Bar.

If you are interested in helping to organize, sponsor, or participate in this event please feel free to contact ADNA at tixatlscavhunt@gmail.com.
