Dear ADNA List Subscriber,

Our last ADNA get-together for December 2008 is a Holiday Shopping Event at VSA Gallery, in the Healey Building, this Tuesday (Dec. 9) from 6-9pm.  Please join me and the ADNA Board to support this fine group and also get some beautiful and unique gifts for your friends and family.
Proceeds from this sale benefit the participating artists and VSA arts of Georgia, a nonprofit organization with a thirty-year history of providing access to arts and cultural events and programs to more than 100,000 Georgians with disabilities and low incomes each year.  This year's exciting selection includes hand stitched books, decorative boxes, ornaments, paintings, origami, jewelry, textiles, blown and stained glass.
Refreshments will be provided!

As I end my two-year term as President it is with a little bit of sadness but much gratitude for the support of our Board and the downtown Community.  Thank you all for your involvement and commitment to making our neighborhood a better place to live and work.  It has been a true pleasure.
With best wishes for the Holidays,

Whitney Rusert
ADNA President, 2008

The Blizzard of Lights Winners!

The results are in and the winners announced at the ADNA Holiday Party are:
Best Motion: Patti and Mark Clark
Best Still Life Effect: Beth Haynes and Brian Crooks
Best Common Lobby: Peachtree Towers

Congratulations to all the winners and those who participated.  This gets better each year!  Remember, keep your lights going until the New Year because Downtown Atlanta will have lots of visitors for the holidays and the Chick-Fil-A Bowl!

Blinking Snowflake Icicle Lights are still available for purchase through ADNA for a $15.00 donation (quantities are limited.)  Lights include a fun range of settings from tasteful solid to seizure-inducing intervals.  Email Stuart Jackson at sjackson@tjgcpa.com

Cancelling ADNA Skate at Centennial Olympic Park

Due to the many events we've planned for this month we're not holding a formal event for skating, but do take advantage of this  activity on your own, or with friends and family.  It's a true retro-experience as you slip and skate a circle to popular and holiday music around a hanging disco ball!  Ninety-minutes of skating is $7 and skate rental $2.
