Georgia State University Library's Grand Opening Ceremony November 15
Georgia State University President Carl V. Patton and Dean of Libraries Charlene Hurt invite you to celebrate the completion of the Library Transformation Project, a $23 million comprehensive renovation of two library buildings at the very heart of campus. This massive undertaking has launched Georgia State further toward national status as a leading research university.
Come enjoy refreshments and view the beautifully renovated facilities as President Patton addresses the crowd on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 11am, Library South, 2nd floor, 100 Decatur Street.
You do not have to be affiliated with Georgia State to visit the Library - some of its most dedicated patrons are legislators, state department employees, and visiting scholars. Over 1.3 million people come through the doors each year, and now there is even more reason to visit. We hope you join us to see what this state-of-the-art facility now offers.
