Successful Walkabout with MARTA's GM, Dr. Beverly Scott
Two weeks ago ADNA and District 2 City Council Member Kwanza Hall participated in a Broad Street and Five Points fact-finding "walkabout" with MARTA's new GM, Dr. Beverly Scott. Richard Hooker, Matt Jordan, Stuart Jackson, Vanessa Raye, Nellie Grant and other residents spent part of the afternoon showing Dr. Scott around their neighborhood. Shared concerns were noted and, overall, a positive impact is on the horizon. One noticeable improvement includes removal of the bus stop shelter that blocks visibility into Broad Street Plaza in front of McDonalds. Thank you MARTA!
