Weekend Public Safety Forum with the Mayor and Chief Pennington
Join Mayor Franklin and Chief Pennington this Saturday,
August 11, as they give a Public Safety Update that is open to the public at
the Georgia Power Corporate Headquarters Auditorium, 241 Ralph McGill
Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30308. Program
runs from 9-11am, and follows a light breakfast that starts at 8:30am. If you cannot make it but would like your
views heard, please email them to District 2 Council Member Kwanza Hall at
khall@atlantaga.gov

at the Railroad District, August 14
The August ADNA meeting will be hosted by the Morsberger
Group. Following refreshments provided
by No Mas! Morsberger executives will
take us on a tour of the former Bank of America Building at 222 Mitchell Street,
in the heart of the new Railroad District! This Adaptive Reuse project will
house condominiums and street level retail and a special rooftop view from the
heliport. This is a pretty fun place to
visit and will involve maps and directional signs. Refreshments start at
6:30pm.

This annual event, sponsored
this year by Bank of America, will take place Monday, August 13 through Sunday
August 19 and will feature 28 of Downtown's finest restaurants, each offering a
three-course dinner for just $25 per person (or with select restaurants, two
meals for $25 plus tax and tip!) Make
