Another Downtown Festival and Tour is in the Books!
Thanks to all the volunteers, vendors, restaurants, sponsors and patrons who attended and worked at the Downtown Festival and Tour last weekend! It was a weekend of beautiful weather and lots of great music and art. Plans are in the works for a new and improved Festival for next year so stay tuned and watch for ways you can get involved in the planning process. It's a great way to get to know your neighbors!
Atlanta Jazz Festival in Woodruff Park will close Streets surrounding the Park!
LANE AND STREET CLOSURES: On Friday, May 23
rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the following
lane closures will be in effect:
The
westbound curb lane on Auburn Avenue between Park Place and Peachtree
Street will be closed (i.e., the north curb lane next to the plaza in
Woodruff Park that is immediately north of Auburn Avenue).
One northbound lane on Park Place between Auburn Avenue and John
Wesley Dobbs Avenue will be closed (i.e. the west curb lane next to the
plaza in Woodruff Park that is immediately north of Auburn Avenue).
Beginning Friday, May 23rd at 6 p.m. thru Tuesday, May 27th at 7 a.m.,
full streetclosures will be in place on the following streets:
Park Place - Between John Wesley Dobbs Avenue and Edgewood Avenue
Edgewood Avenue - Between Peachtree Street and Peachtree Center Avenue
Auburn Avenue - Between Peachtree Street and Peachtree Center Avenue

AND PUT IT IN YOUR CAR. Be polite to the enforcing officers and they should be aware of residential needs to pass through closed streets.
