Dear ADNA List Subscriber,
The City of Atlanta is preparing for the St. Patrick's Day Parade and SEC tournaments and APD are asking that commuters and residents be prepared for additional traffic around the downtown area this weekend.

The St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 15, will stage on W. Peachtree between Pine and Ralph McGill, proceed down Peachtree to Decatur St, turning right onto Pryor and end at MLK.  Streets will be closed from 11:30am to 2:30pm during the parade.

NEW DATE: Next Happy Hour: new Peasant Bistro at Centennial Park West, March 28
We are again inviting our Castleberry and Marietta Street neighbors to join us at The Peasant Bistro on Friday March 28 for a Happy Hour from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  Cash bar and free appetizers as well as gift certificate door prizes!

Downtown Festival and Tour News: We need Tour Participants!
It's time to show off your home!  Be a part of the 2008 Downtown Festival and Tour.  Applicants should send a brief description and 3-4 pictures by email to deboday@yahoo.com, or mail to Deb Day at 250 Park Avenue West NW, Unit 806, Atlanta, GA  30313.  Every person who submits an application will be contacted; we're looking for 10 lofts to show off in May.  The application deadline is March 31, 2008.  Email Deb Day with any questions.

On March 17 Stand up for Cleaner Air, Less Driving, and Expanding Public Transit!
Spend this St Patrick's Day campaigning for greener transportation!  The fun begins with a breakfast from 8:30-10:00am at Central Presbyterian Church (201 Washington St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303,) where you will receive information about lobbying for this important cause at the Capitol from 10:00am-12:00noon.  A rally at the Capitol will be held from noon to 1pm, then meet for Irish celebrating and debriefing at Irish Bred Pub, located in Underground Atlanta (74 Upper Alabama St SW Atlanta, GA 30303.)  RSVP TO Erin Glynn, (404) 607-1262 x229 or email erin.glynn@sierraclub.org.  Sponsored by Citizens for Progressive Transit.
