Code Enforcement Court Opportunity!  Please attend if you Can!

The absentee owners of two buildings that are an eyesore on Peachtree Street are FINALLY being taken to court for code violations that have created unsafe and unsanitary conditions.  The Medical Arts Building (384 Peachtree) and 378 Peachtree, next to the I-85/75 Connector Overpass are pictured above in their current state.  The owners have been cited for not securing the building, allowing unforced entry by vagrants and vandals, and allowing excessive litter and trash to accumulate inside their buildings.  They will appear in Municipal Court of Atlanta (150 Garnett St. 30303) on February 18 at 8am in Judge Jackson's court, 5A .  Downtown residents and workers are asked to attend in support for code enforcement standards that will eliminate hazardous and unsightly conditions for pedestrians walking along Peachtree in front of these two buildings.
