Frequently Asked Questions
On this page ADNA will post answers to frequently asked questions
related to the Festival and Tour.
GENERAL
Q. Why does ADNA produce the Downtown Festival & Tour of
Lofts?
A. The purpose of organizing and presenting the Festival and

is our job to create a welcoming, fun, clean, and exciting
atmosphere. We invite guests from all over the Metro Atlanta
area to come into our neighborhood to see how we live and play!

A. Festival hours are 8 - 11 p.m. Friday, May 16, (music only), 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 and 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. The Tour has slightly shorter hours: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday.

At TIX.com, you can buy tickets for the Tour, Kick-off Party, or get combo packages.
Q: Where does this all happen?
A: The Atlanta Downtown Festival will take place in the historic Fairlie-Poplar district, while the Tour takes place over a wider area of Downtown Atlanta. You can find maps and directions for MARTA, car, and bike right here on the web site.
Q. Are there any activities for children?
A: Yes!
The festival includes live entertainment, food, and artwork, plus a "Children's Area" featuring activities for children such as live readings, puppet-making, and more.
The home tour is generally not a good pick for young children.
THE TOUR
Q: I would love for my Downtown home to be part of the Tour. How do I get my place to be considered?
A. Complete details are available on the Tour page. You can also download an invitation, which includes instructions.
Q: What are the homes on the tour like?
A. Homes on the tour are urban dwellings, mostly condos. Some are located in former office buildings or industrial buildings, while some are located in new buildings. Homes vary in size, style, and price, and it's this variety that makes the Tour so interesting and enjoyable.
See pictures of various homes which were on 2007's tour.
Q: How do I get around to visit all the homes?
A. Many of the homes are in walking distance of the main festival. However, there will be a bus/shuttle service available to take tour participants to some of the further-flung buildings, such as Centennial House, Renaissance Lofts, Museum Tower, etc. Details available at the Tour registration desk.
